Caileigh grew up in New England where she competed her Connemara Pony, Ocean Mist Vinny Van Gogh in Eventing. She moved to Aiken, SC with her pony after high school to be a working student with Darrell and Melissa Vaughn at The Stable on the Woods, and began competing in jumpers.

Caileigh attended Sweet Briar College in Virginia where she studied english and literature. She returned to the horse world riding professionally after training with Dressage rider Dottie Morkis in Wellington, FL. She then rode for an International Show Jumping barn, and spent time teaching lessons in Maryland.

Her love of knowledge inspired her to spend time shadowing vets, equine massage therapists and Osteopaths, to gain a deeper understanding of equine sports medicine. Caileigh was drawn to equine sports medicine and decided to further her knowledge by attending Equissage School of Equine and Canine Massage Therapy. She established her business, Resilience Equine, and has worked for several years as an Equine Sports Massage Therapist.

Caileigh is now happy to be back at The Stable on the Woods managing the care and wellbeing of horses and riding in the woods.

Cera grew up as a Three Day Eventer in Southern California. She competed her horse Dottie successfully through the Preliminary level before he retired. After this Cera moved to Hawaii where there was little to no English riding on the island. While getting her degree in English she decided to have fun learning a new discipline, and began Barrel Racing. For many years Cera ran a large lesson program where she taught and managed year round, and ran camps during the summer. She trained with an upper level Dressage rider for 2 years to hone in on her technical skills to assist in the proper training of young horses. She purchased a young OTTB who she retrained and later sold. Cera’s love of horses and adventure brought her to Aiken, SC with her dogs and mini pony.
